Case Manager
Emery | Reddy is a boutique law firm seeking a Case Manager in our Downtown Seattle office. We are a thriving firm specializing in plaintiff litigation in workers’ compensation, Employment Law, and injury claims. We are passionate about serving our clients and we enjoy doing it! This position is responsible for the administrative tasks involved on our workers’ compensation claims, including being the main point of contact for our clients. The ideal candidate will have strong customer service skills, dependability, great attention to detail, and a desire to learn and grow with the firm. Case Managers report to Senior Paralegals and Attorneys.
Job Type: Full-time, In-Person
Salary: $23 – 27 per hour, DOE
Job Location: Seattle, WA
Duties Include:
- Maintaining contact with clients as the designated primary contact for workers’ compensation claims.
- Ensuring the client is receiving all workers’ compensation communications and correspondence.
- Maintaining communication with the Department of Labor and Industries, Insurance companies, Opposing Counsel, and Vocational Counselors to ensure claims are proceeding in a timely fashion.
- Work closely with Document Clerks to ensure pertinent records are requested and organized in a timely matter.
- Report to Senior Paralegals.
- Perform other tasks as assigned by Attorneys and Paralegals.
Qualifications Include:
- Bachelor’s degree
- 1 – 3 years customer service or sales experience required
- 1 – 3 years law firm experience preferred
- Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and ability to prioritize
- Ability to work efficiently and independently
