According to The Seattle Times, Attorney General Bob Ferguson is suing O’Reilly Auto Parts for discrimination and retaliation against some of its pregnant employees.

“O’Reilly’s top-down practice of discrimination caused physical and emotional harm to many pregnant Washingtonians and their babies,” Ferguson said, “and in many cases, cost them their jobs.”

Ferguson also stated that these employees were denied reasonable accommodations and when they were asked for, they were retaliated against by “by demoting them, threatening to fire them and forcing them to take unpaid leave or quit.”
