Washington State Expands Protections for Adult Entertainment Workers in 2025

The new year will bring with it new laws for the adult entertainment industry. Starting January 2, 2025, entertainers can expect improved protections, training, and security, as well as the elimination of systems that have previously held them responsible for most of the club’s fees. Read more.

DOL Proposes Nixing Subminimum Wages for Workers with Disabilities

Thanks to advancements in employment opportunities for people with disabilities, the U.S. Department of Labor proposed ending the practice of paying subminimum wages to workers with disabilities, phasing it out over three years. The public can submit comments on the rule until January 17, 2025. Read more.
