Attorney Fees

Our Seattle L&I Attorney Fees Are Contingency Based

At Emery | Reddy, PLLC, we put our clients first by working for them on a contingency basis. Rather than sending up-front charges or fees to our clients for our time and efforts, our expert team instead pays its attorney fees through your claim itself, and there is no fee unless we recover for you. Contingency changes slightly based on the type of claim for which our team is representing you. Fees for Document Reviews are noncontingent.

Employment Matter Attorney Fees

For employment matters, our legal team litigates on behalf of wronged workers, gets damages or a settlement, and our attorney fees are one-third of the total settlement amount. This means our clients aren’t on the hook for litigation fees against their employers, even if we aren’t able to win or settle.

L&I—Workers’ Compensation Attorney Fees

For L&I — worker’s compensation matters, our expert team represents injured workers and manages claims without charging directly for their work. Because we work on contingency, our attorney fees are 10% of time-loss benefits and one-third of any permanent partial disability (PPD) awards that may be given at the end of a claim.

Contingency works similarly if we represent our client for a third-party claim or consumer law violations. When we win these cases, our attorney fees from those who have wronged our clients, rather than from our clients themselves.
